Bewitching hour fell upon Unity One Credit Union on Saturday, October 24, as the North Tarrant branch lobby was overtaken by ghouls, ghosts, goblins and more for the annual Kidtoberfest event.
The highlight of the event, a science show by Mad Scientist Fort Worth, dazzled and entertained the attendees with foggy dry ice storms, a special “burp” potion and make-at-home slime kits.
“We took the fear out of banking for kids with this event. Teaching them that they can come into the branch and have fun is an important step in learning to be financially savvy adults,” said Kathy Jones, North Tarrant branch manager.
Attendees were also treated to a haunted house, photo booth, face painting, balloon art and a hot dog eating eating contest.
