Unity One CU informs: New ATM for students at Timber Creek High School

Convenience is the word for the students, faculty and staff at Timber Creek High School as Unity One Credit Union just opened a new ATM on campus after Spring Break.

Unity One has a long history of partnering with the Keller ISD to provide financial education resources and services to students and faculty. After sponsoring a successful student-run branch for over ten years at Fossil Ridge High School, Unity One was invited to open a branch at the new Keller Center for Advanced Learning in the spring of 2017. In the fall of 2017, Unity One received a request to sponsor an ATM at Timber Creek High School.

Unity One is excited to officially open the Timber Creek ATM this week near the cafeteria. The ATM will be open during regular school hours and will dispurse cash in $5 and $20 denominations.

“Unity One is thrilled for the opportunity to partner with Timber Creek High School to provide this ATM for their use. Our goal is to give students a solid foundation of money management skills. Financial literacy is more important than ever, and we want to help students achieve the financially secure future of their dreams,” said Gary Williams, president of Unity One Credit Union.

This four month program provided an invaluable opportunity to connect with district leaders, as well as an opportunity to learn more about the services the Keller ISD provides,” she said.

Unity One currently operates a credit union branch at Fossil Ridge High School, located in the Keller ISD. In addition to the high school branch, employees of the credit union are constantly providing financial education resources and outreach efforts to the district’s students and teachers.
